Both are controller based systems built for exactly this kind of deployment, and both are capable of running a clean guest network across a venue. Omada is usually chosen when cost per access point is the deciding factor. UniFi is usually chosen when catalogue breadth, multi site scale, or an existing standard inside the business is the deciding factor.
For guest WiFi marketing specifically, the two are closer than the debate suggests. Each supports an external captive portal, which is the only feature the marketing layer depends on. That means the hardware decision and the marketing decision are separate decisions, and you can make them in either order.

Runs as free controller software you host yourself, as a dedicated hardware controller appliance, or through TP-Link cloud management. All three manage the same devices.

What neither ecosystem does
Both are excellent network equipment. Neither is a customer database, and neither was ever trying to be one.
Both vendors ship a hotspot that authenticates. Authentication is a different job from marketing. The gap between the two is the same size whichever ecosystem you buy, which is why it should not decide the purchase.
