Social WiFi for Restaurants That Fills Tables & Earns Reviews

Turn every WiFi login into a consented guest record. VoqadoWiFi captures diner emails at the portal, schedules a Google review request for a couple of hours after the meal, and segments lapsed diners for win-back campaigns, running on the TP-Link Omada or Ubiquiti UniFi hardware you already have.

Everything a restaurant needs to turn
guest WiFi into a revenue engine

Restaurant WiFi marketing is not about surveillance, it's about earning the right to communicate and delivering value every time you do.

Automated Review Requests, on a Delay You Set

When a diner connects, a review request is queued for later, two hours after the visit by default, and you can change that to any number of hours. A scheduler checks the queue every fifteen minutes and sends the due emails. No manual chasing, no awkward table-side asks.

Diner CRM Built Into Every Login

Every WiFi login enriches your guest database with name, email, visit history, and frequency. Segment by visit count, recency, or spend level to run laser-targeted campaigns that bring diners back when it matters most.

Birthday & Anniversary Promotions

Capture your guests' birthdays on login and let VoqadoWiFi do the rest, automated emails with a personalised offer land 7 days before every birthday. One setup, zero ongoing effort, and your restaurant top-of-mind for the celebration.

Mailchimp Sync and Signed Webhooks

New diners are pushed to your Mailchimp audience as they log in, so your existing newsletter keeps working with no CSV exports. For anything else, outbound webhooks fire on portal and campaign events with an HMAC-SHA256 signature, so your own systems can consume the same data.

Re-Engagement Campaigns for Lapsed Guests

Pick an absence window, 28, 45, or 60 days, and diners who cross it are segmented automatically and sent a win-back message with whatever offer you configure. The platform handles the detection and the send; the offer is what determines how many come back.

GDPR-Compliant Consent at Login

Built-in double opt-in, consent logging, and unsubscribe handling ensure every contact in your list is fully compliant. Audit logs are available on demand for regulators, so you can market confidently without legal risk.

Up and running in three steps

No developer required. No hardware replacement. Most restaurants are live and capturing guest data within the hour.

Connect & Brand Your Splash Page

Point your TP-Link Omada or Ubiquiti UniFi controller at VoqadoWiFi. Upload your logo, set your brand colours, and choose which fields the login form asks for. Your guests see a branded portal the moment they connect instead of a password prompt.

2

Guests Log In, You Capture Data

Every diner who connects to your WiFi authenticates through your branded portal. Their name, email, and consent are captured automatically and flow into your VoqadoWiFi CRM, no manual entry, no third-party integrations required at this stage.

Automations Run While You Serve

Review requests go out on your chosen delay. Birthday emails go out ahead of the date. Re-engagement campaigns pick up diners who cross your absence threshold. You focus on the food; the scheduler does the asking.

What actually happens at table 12

One diner, one connection, six things you now own

Every claim below describes a step the software takes. Nothing here depends on how good your food is, which is the part we cannot sell you.

1

They ask for the WiFi password

They do not get one. Your controller redirects the device to your branded portal instead. That redirect is the whole trick, it turns an unavoidable moment of guest intent into a page you control.

2

They enter an email and tick consent

The consent is explicit and timestamped, and it is stored alongside the address. That record is what makes the contact legally usable later, and it is what an auditor asks for.

3

A guest record is created or matched

If they have eaten with you before, the session attaches to the existing record and the visit count increments. That count is the raw material for every segment you will build.

4

A review request is queued, not sent

It is scheduled for two hours out by default, which you can change to any number of hours. Sending while they are still chewing is how restaurants get one-star reviews about the wait.

5

A scheduler sends it when due

A job runs every fifteen minutes, picks up requests that have come due, generates a single-use token, and sends the email. Failed sends are retried rather than silently dropped.

6

The contact lands in your Mailchimp audience

Synced with the visit data attached, so the newsletter you already send can segment on it. You can also take the same events over a signed webhook into your own systems.

A worked example, not a measured result

Suppose 200 diners connect in a month and 60% complete the form. That is 120 consented contacts, and 120 review requests sent on your delay. If one in ten of those requests turns into a public review, you finish the month with 12 more reviews than you would have had by asking nobody.

Every number in that paragraph is an assumption we invented to show the shape of the arithmetic. Your connection rate, completion rate and review conversion will differ, and the honest answer is that we cannot know them before you run it. Put your own figures in and see what falls out.

Model it with your own numbers

The hardware question, answered plainly

VoqadoWiFi works with TP-Link Omada and Ubiquiti UniFi. That is the complete list. If your restaurant runs anything else, the portal cannot authorise your guests until you move to one of these two platforms.

Restaurant WiFi marketing, your questions answered

Everything you need to know before your first guest logs in.

The work is: point your controller at VoqadoWiFi, brand your splash page, and switch on the automations you want. There is no hardware swap if you already run a supported controller. How long that takes depends on who administers your network and how much branding you want to do before you go live, so we would rather not quote you a stopwatch figure.

Starter is free forever: 25 logins a month on one location, with the branded portal, email capture and GDPR consent flow. Growth is $49 a month and covers up to three locations with 3,000 logins a month, plus Google review automation, birthday and re-engagement campaigns and Mailchimp sync. Enterprise is custom priced and is the tier that includes white-label (no Voqado branding) and API access. Pricing is per account, not per location.

Yes, fully. Every login captures explicit, auditable consent before an email address is stored. We provide a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) for your records, built-in unsubscribe handling, and on-demand data deletion. You remain the data controller; we are a GDPR-compliant processor.

Yes. VoqadoWiFi supports two controller platforms: TP-Link Omada and Ubiquiti UniFi. Those are the only two, so if your restaurant runs something else, Meraki, MikroTik, Aruba, or an ISP-supplied consumer router, you would need supported hardware before the portal can authorise guests. We would rather tell you that now than after you sign up.

We are not going to invent a number for you. What the platform guarantees is the ask: every diner who logs in gets a review request at the delay you set, which removes the main reason restaurants collect few reviews, nobody remembers to ask. How many of those asks convert depends on your covers, your food, and how the request is worded. Model your own numbers with our ROI calculator rather than trusting a vendor average.

You control the login flow. You can offer a frictionless "skip" option that provides basic internet access without data capture, or require login for full bandwidth. Guests who do log in have given explicit, logged consent, which is the only kind of contact worth having on a marketing list. Requiring login raises capture but adds friction at the table, so it is a trade-off worth testing rather than assuming.
