Define agent action approvals

A matrix for separating reading, drafting, publishing and network changes in a proposed agent workflow.

First, the useful part

Start with the decision.

Different actions carry different consequences. A useful approval matrix says what the agent may do, what evidence it must show and who authorizes the next step. This is a governance design worksheet, not a description of permissions currently implemented by VoqadoWiFi.

Put it into practice

Three moves to make.

  1. Classify the action

List concrete actions such as reading an approved summary, drafting copy, sending a campaign or changing a configuration. Avoid broad categories that hide meaningful differences.

  2. Name the approver

For each consequential action, identify the accountable person and the details they need to review. Make approval specific to the audience, content or configuration change.

  3. Specify the stop condition

Define what happens if approval is missing, data is ambiguous or the target venue cannot be verified. Require an observable result and a record of the authorized action.

An illustrative example

What it could look like.

An assistant may draft an event invitation from approved facts while a venue manager reviews the audience and final content before sending. Network changes belong in a separately authorized technical process with their own acceptance and recovery checks.

Before the next move

The final check.

Test the matrix with a missing approval and a wrong-venue example. The intended result should be a stop, not a guessed continuation.

The detail that matters

Do not treat permission to draft as permission to publish or permission to modify a network.

Is a written matrix enough to secure an integration?

No. The implementation must enforce the agreed access and action boundaries, and those controls need verification.
