VoqadoWiFi / The essentials

Guest WiFi that earns a return visit.

Guest WiFi is a network for visitors. A branded login page can make access clearer and give guests a separate choice to hear from your business.

Guest WiFi, social WiFi and captive portals

Guest WiFi describes who the network serves. A captive portal is the page guests see before internet access is authorized. Social WiFi adds identity and marketing features, sometimes through social login and sometimes through email. These are related ideas, not interchangeable technical requirements.

Design the experience before the campaign

Keep the login short, explain why information is requested and make the next step obvious on a phone. Provide a clear way to get help. Treat agreeing to network terms and subscribing to marketing as separate decisions.

Plan around your existing hardware

VoqadoWiFi supports TP-Link Omada and Ubiquiti UniFi. Check the controller type and administrative access first. Your access points and internet connection remain separate from the software subscription.

Pilot without disrupting your venue

Have your network administrator create a test guest SSID and retain the current controller settings. Test the portal on venue-owned devices, including reconnects and internet access, before scheduling a production switch. Keep staff, payment and operational systems on separate networks.

Measure useful outcomes

Track successful logins, explicitly opted-in contacts and repeat visits using clear definitions. Device counts are not a perfect count of people. Randomized device addresses, repeat sessions and shared devices can change the picture.

Common questions

Is guest WiFi the same as social WiFi?

No. Guest WiFi provides visitor network access. Social WiFi adds a branded login and tools for building customer relationships.

Is VoqadoWiFi free?

Starter is free forever for one location and 25 guest logins a month, with no credit card. Hardware and internet service are separate; check pricing for larger requirements.

Will planning change my existing WiFi?

No. The public setup planner only prepares a signup link. Network configuration happens later, inside your account and controller.
