GoZone WiFi alternatives for venues that want no ads at login

GoZone is one of only three platforms we checked with a free forever plan, and the only one whose free plan is an ads based login. If your guests seeing someone else’s advert is the problem, here are the alternatives and what each costs instead.

Who wrote this. VoqadoWiFi wrote this page and is one of the options on it, so weigh it accordingly. Every other vendor’s price and feature below was read from that vendor’s own pages on October 7, 2026 and is linked in the table. Staying on GoZone WiFi is listed as an option, and the page says when it is the right one.
The short answer
For a free login with no ads, VoqadoWiFi Starter captures guest emails for one location on Omada or UniFi, and Purple Connect gives a free branded portal without listed data capture. For a low paid entry, CaptiFi Lite starts at £19.99 a month. Stay on GoZone for its hardware reach and free access point allowance.

Why venues look beyond GoZone WiFi

From GoZone WiFi’s own pages, read October 7, 2026:

  • The free Business Starter plan is marked "* Ads-based login".
  • Each paid plan includes one AP license.
  • The plans page describes surveys rather than review requests.

The case for staying on GoZone WiFi

Stay on GoZone if ads at login are acceptable and you need many access points free, or if you use its touchless menu, survey builder, coupons, Zapier or paid WiFi add on. It is a generous free plan with a clearly stated catch.

Each option, with its catch

VoqadoWiFi

Why consider it. A free plan that captures guest emails with consent (1 location, 500 logins a month, no card), Growth at $49 a month for three locations, and review requests that show every guest the same public link.

The catch. Works only with TP-Link Omada and Ubiquiti UniFi. No SMS, no paid WiFi, no POS or PMS integration, no white label. Campaign sending is being switched on account by account.

Purple

Why consider it. Connect is free: secure captive portal, branded splash pages, 25 languages, network analytics.

The catch. Guest data capture is listed in the quoted Capture tier.

CaptiFi

Why consider it. Lite at £19.99 a month as our check was served, with guest capture and CSV export.

The catch. CaptiFi branding on Lite; 500 new guests a month; card for the trial.

Spotipo

Why consider it. Published per location prices, CRM sync and GDPR consent built in on Starter.

The catch. No free plan; 14 day trial.

The portal built into your controller

Why consider it. The captive portal inside your Omada or UniFi controller costs nothing and is already installed. It can show terms, take a password or issue vouchers.

The catch. It keeps no guest list you can market to and sends nothing after the visit. Right if you only want a terms page; wrong if you want to bring guests back.

Before you leave GoZone WiFi, export these

  • Your guest list and the consent each guest gave.
  • Survey results you want to keep.
  • Touchless menu content, if you used it, since the next platform may not host menus.

Consent records matter most. A list of emails without the wording and date each guest agreed to is a list you should not email. Our guide to guest WiFi and privacy rules explains why.

Questions

Is there a free alternative to GoZone without ads?

Why is GoZone free?
GoZone’s plans page marks its free Business Starter plan as an ads based login, so the free tier is funded by advertising shown to guests.
Which alternative supports as much hardware as GoZone?
Purple lists 25 hardware integrations and Spotipo names nine router brands plus more. VoqadoWiFi supports only Omada and UniFi.
