VoqadoWiFi and GoZone WiFi: two free plans, two different catches

GoZone WiFi and VoqadoWiFi are the two platforms in this comparison with a free plan that never expires and still lets you collect guest emails. Each one pays for that differently. Knowing which catch suits your venue is most of the decision.

Who wrote this. VoqadoWiFi wrote this page, and VoqadoWiFi is one of the two products on it. Read it with that in mind. Every GoZone WiFi figure and feature below was read from GoZone WiFi’s own pages on October 7, 2026 and is linked so you can check it. Where GoZone WiFi is the better choice, the page says so.
The short version
Both are free forever. GoZone’s free Business Starter is an ads based login with no access point limit, and automated email campaigns start at $39 a month with one AP license. VoqadoWiFi’s free Starter shows no ads and captures emails, but is capped at one location and 500 logins a month, on Omada or UniFi.

Free tier, in their own termsStarter is free forever, not a trial: 1 location, 500 guest logins a month, branded login, guest email capture and CSV export. No card, no ads shown to guests.Business Starter is "$0 Forever!", marked "Ads-based login", with social and email login and no limit on access points. Automated campaigns start on Essentials.
HardwareNone supplied and none to return. Runs on the Omada or UniFi controller you already have.Works with compatible WiFi equipment, or GoZone supplies hardware "for an additional charge".
Network vendors supportedExactly two: TP-Link Omada and Ubiquiti UniFi. Nothing else works.Configuration guides for a long list of hardware brands on its site.
Consent handlingWiFi terms acceptance is never treated as marketing consent. On the explicit consent form (the default for new venues; owners switch it on for existing ones) the email box is separate and starts unticked, and each choice is stored with the exact wording shown and the time.No consent wording found on the plans page.
Review requestsNever gated. Every guest who gave email consent gets the same public review link, 3 hours after connecting by default, and never between 21:00 and 09:00 venue time; a private note to the venue is offered in addition, never instead. No review request feature described on the plans page; paid tiers include a survey builder and forms that can "Receive feedback and reviews".
Choose it whenYou run Omada or UniFi, want a published price, and want guest emails and review requests without a sales call.Your hardware is not Omada or UniFi, you need many access points free, or you want a touchless menu, coupons, surveys, Zapier or paid WiFi tiers.

Where GoZone WiFi is the better choice

  • Hardware reach. Guides for a long list of hardware brands, or hardware supplied at extra charge. VoqadoWiFi supports two vendors.
  • No access point limit on the free plan. A large free hotspot is possible if ads at login are acceptable to you.
  • Venue extras. A touchless menu builder on the free plan; survey builder, coupons, a Zapier integration and an advanced API on paid tiers; SMS and paid WiFi access as add ons.

Where VoqadoWiFi is the better fit

  • No advertising on your login. Guests see your brand and nobody else’s. GoZone’s free plan is funded by ads shown on the way in.
  • Follow up on the free plan. Review requests go to guests who opted in, with the same public link for every rating.
  • Three venues for $49. GoZone’s paid tiers each include one AP license; VoqadoWiFi Growth covers three locations and 5,000 logins a month at one price.

What each free plan costs you instead of money

GoZone’s plans page is direct about it: Business Starter is "$0 Forever!" with "* Ads-based login". The free plan is paid for by advertising your guests see while they connect. For a bus station or a park, that may be fine. For a venue that has spent years on its look, the login is the first screen a guest sees inside your door.

VoqadoWiFi’s free plan is built for one venue: one location and 500 guest logins a month, enough to run a single busy venue properly. A second location, or a venue regularly above 500 logins a month, needs Growth at $49 a month. Over the allowance, guests still get online; the WiFi is never switched off.

Licences against locations

Every GoZone paid plan says "Includes 1 AP license". VoqadoWiFi does not count access points at all: Growth covers three locations and 5,000 guest logins a month however many access points each venue runs. If you have one access point and lots of guests, GoZone’s model may suit you. If you have several access points per venue, ask GoZone what additional licences cost before you compare.

Decide in four questions

  • Hardware other than Omada or UniFi? GoZone or another platform.
  • Happy for guests to see ads at login, and need many access points free? GoZone Business Starter.
  • Want your brand alone on the login? VoqadoWiFi.
  • Several access points per venue? Compare licences against VoqadoWiFi’s flat Growth price.
