Spotipo alternatives for venues paying per location

Spotipo publishes clear per location prices and works with a long list of routers, which is why it lands on so many shortlists. The reasons to look further are mostly arithmetic and scope. These are the options, checked against their own pages.

Who wrote this. VoqadoWiFi wrote this page and is one of the options on it, so weigh it accordingly. Every other vendor’s price and feature below was read from that vendor’s own pages on October 7, 2026 and is linked in the table. Staying on Spotipo is listed as an option, and the page says when it is the right one.
The short answer
If you run two or three venues on Omada or UniFi, VoqadoWiFi Growth covers three locations for $49 a month and Starter is free for one. If you need more routers than that, compare Purple Connect (free, no listed data capture), GoZone (free with ads) and CaptiFi. Stay on Spotipo for paid WiFi or sub accounts.

Why venues look beyond Spotipo

From Spotipo’s own pages, read October 7, 2026:

  • Pricing is per location: Starter is $59 a month, or $49 billed annually, for each venue.
  • There is a 14 day trial rather than a free plan.
  • The pricing page does not describe review requests.

The case for staying on Spotipo

Stay on Spotipo if you sell WiFi access through Stripe, use voucher or per user logins, manage franchisees with sub accounts, need white label admin branding, or run routers none of the alternatives support. It does those things well and publishes the price.

Each option, with its catch

VoqadoWiFi

Why consider it. A free plan that captures guest emails with consent (1 location, 500 logins a month, no card), Growth at $49 a month for three locations, and review requests that show every guest the same public link.

The catch. Works only with TP-Link Omada and Ubiquiti UniFi. No SMS, no paid WiFi, no POS or PMS integration, no white label. Campaign sending is being switched on account by account.

Purple

Why consider it. Connect is free with a branded portal, 25 languages and network analytics; Purple lists 25 hardware integrations.

The catch. Data capture sits in Capture, which is priced by quote.

GoZone WiFi

Why consider it. Free forever with email login and no access point limit; guides for a long list of hardware.

The catch. Ads at login on the free plan; paid tiers include one AP license each.

CaptiFi

Why consider it. Automated review requests from Essentials and hardware on a refundable deposit.

The catch. Card needed for the trial; extra sites cost +£25 a month as our check was served.

The portal built into your controller

Why consider it. The captive portal inside your Omada or UniFi controller costs nothing and is already installed. It can show terms, take a password or issue vouchers.

The catch. It keeps no guest list you can market to and sends nothing after the visit. Right if you only want a terms page; wrong if you want to bring guests back.

Before you leave Spotipo, export these

  • Guest records with consent dates and wording.
  • Any voucher or paid access setup, so guests are not cut off mid session.
  • CRM sync settings, so the destination list keeps receiving new guests.

Consent records matter most. A list of emails without the wording and date each guest agreed to is a list you should not email. Our guide to guest WiFi and privacy rules explains why.
