Bring people back / Note 18

Plan a thoughtful quiet-day invitation

A campaign worksheet for inviting suitable guests to a quieter service without promising a guaranteed lift.

Original VoqadoWiFi campaign artwork; illustrative, not a customer testimonial
First, the useful part

Start with the decision.

Quiet periods can have different causes: opening hours, local routines, weather or simply a small audience. An email is one experiment, not a diagnosis. Choose a specific service and make the invitation useful to people who can realistically attend.

Put it into practice

Three moves to make.

  1. Pick the service

Identify the day, time and experience you want to support. Ask the operating team what capacity it can serve comfortably.

  2. Make a relevant invitation

Choose a permissioned audience with a reasonable connection to the venue. Explain what makes the service worth visiting instead of relying only on a discount.

  3. Record the outcome

Use a defined booking link or an agreed redemption method if available. Compare results with the campaign’s costs and note other events that affected the service.

An illustrative example

What it could look like.

Sample idea: a weekday coffee tasting with a clear time and a short booking page. The invitation should state what is included and whether booking is required. This is an illustrative campaign, not a measured VoqadoWiFi result.

Before the next move

The final check.

Review bookings or redemptions alongside staff feedback. A busier service that cannot be delivered well is not automatically a successful experiment.

The detail that matters

Do not attribute every visit during the advertised period to the email.

Should every quiet-day campaign offer a discount?

No. A useful event, a seasonal item or a convenient service can be a reason to visit without changing the price.
